Silky - the sucker for tv dramas

Grey's Anatomy - the best tv drama in the recently concluded Golden Globe awards.

Have you tried watching one episode of Grey's Anatomy? Just one. If your answer is no, well…you should! This tv series was introduced to me by a brod. It was the summer of 2005 and the people in elbi were left with nothing to do but watch movies, play mahjong, party…blah blah. So this brod suggested that we try watching Grey's Anatomy. We were hesitant at first but since we had nothing else to do then, what the heck, let's just watch it. After the first episode, we were hooked. I mean really hooked! We couldn't stop watching it…literally! We even lasted for more than 24hrs without sleep just watching McDreamy and Meredith and the rest of the cast. We were really jealous of Addison Shepherd…and thought how lucky that b*tch is! Imagine, she shagged McDreamy and McSteamy. How lucky can you get?! Anyway, I'm still rooting for Derek and Meredith to end up together.

Here's one of my favorite lines by Meredith. Although she was good in this scene (as Oprah said), she says that this is one of her hatest lines. Why? because she sounded pathetic in this scene! Even if you really love a guy and you really want him to be with you, YOU SHOULD NEVER BEG!

              MEREDITH:"Ok, here it is, your choice…it's simple, her or me, and I'm sure she is really really great. But, Derek, I love you in a big pretend to like your taste in music, let you eat the last piece of cheesecake, hold a radio over my head outside your window, unfortunate way that makes me hate you, love you. So pick me, choose me, love me!

You see what I mean?! I'm so glad I've never been in a position where I had to say these lines or thought of saying this lines. You see, I may be bragging when I say this, but, I always get what I want. I may not get them immediately, but eventually, I will…ehehe.

Back to Grey's Anatomy. Here's another one of the scenes that I like. This one is between Derek and Addy. This was after Derek chose his wife over Meredith.

ADDISON: "Are you sad? Depressed? What? It's Christmas, Derek. We love Christmas. Or at least we used to."
DEREK: [pauses] "I'm not saying this to hurt you, or because I want to leave you, because I don't. Meredith wasn't a fling. She wasn't revenge. I fell in love with her. That doesn't go away because I decided to stay with you."

I could go on and on about Grey's Anatomy…but, I won't. I will leave it to you to watch the entire three seasons. As of now, I'm still waiting to download the latest episode of season 3. See yah!
