High School: Revisited

Out of my boredom, I decided to reconnect with my old friends. As I mentioned earlier in my previous post, I created a mailing list for our Chemsoc batch, and now, I'm thinking of creating a new one for my high school class. It's been a long time since I heard from them. I've only been in contact with 2 or 3 of them, and there's 16 of us. I guess I just want to renew old friendships.  

I've always considered my high school life as one of the happiest that I've ever experienced.  We were 'kids' then. Pretty naive and sometimes gullible. All we wanted was to have fun and bond with each other. I remember all those times that we sneaked off school and went into town or just stayed at one of our classmates house. Then, our teacher will call looking for us and telling us to go back to school. On weekends, we would go on a picnic by the river without our parent's consent. We were like rebels. It's like we had our own rules and nobody can order us around. We did what we wanted to do and if it's not enough, we persuade others to join us. That was really fun! I remember all our teachers didn't like it then. They referred to us as "spoiled brats" and we really didn't care. hihi! 

I miss those days! After our graduation, we went to different universities, thus, we only saw each other during semestral breaks, christmas breaks, or during summer vacation. After college, I guess, we simply moved on with life and went our separate ways. Although I know all of us will forever cherish that special time in our lives, it's really difficult to stay in communication with each other.

There was even a time when I wished we'd forever stay that way. Forever in high school. Forever friends. No complications. Just having plain and innocent fun!

After my "romantic" getaway to Puerto Galera, I'm back to my old boring life. My supposedly visit to elbi was cancelled due to unforeseen(?) circumstances.

Here I am again, surfing the net. Looking for updates on my favorite TV series, authors, celebrities, and the like.

I just finished visiting Grey's Anatomy's website. I'm looking at Prison Break's now. I'll look up for Desperate Housewives next.

Created a mailing list for my batch (Zwitterion) the other day since I have access to the internet 24/7. I'm excited to reconnect with my batchmates and be updated with the goings on in their lives. 

Talked to a batchmate 2 days back and, like me, he's excited for our coming batch anniversary, which is still a few months ahead. He asked me to organize a get-together for that event. I hope my other batchmates will participate.

Had a sudden longing for the good old days where all I had to do was go to class, hang out and have fun! I miss those days. Life was so simple back then! *sigh*

Anyway, so far, our group has 7 members and 4 messages. We're making progress. hihi!
