Plans, plans, plans…
March 22, 2007Tomorrow is the day! I get to go back to elbi after more than a month. The last time I was there was for women's week '07/febfair '07. The reason I'm going to elbi is to watch my friend's thesis defense, at the same time, I have to pay for my overdue house rent. Although I'm not staying there as of the moment, I have to pay the rent because my things are there and I stay there once in a while.
I'm really excited, but I don't know why. I guess it's because I can finally do something other than watch tv or surf the net, or the same old boring stuff I do each and every day.

Another thing. The other day, my hubby proposed to me that we join this hike/climb to Kalinga Apayao. It's actually for a good cause. They're going to do some charity work there. I really don't know the details yet but from what I've heard, the climb will be in late May this year.

Had the chance to chat with my li'l bro (he's in Florida) the other night. He said that he's coming home late this May to finish his degree in ADZU. He suggested that we go back home to Zamboanga together since we have plans of spending a vacation there this summer.

I've never gotten round to cooking spaghetti using my mom's "secret" recipe. I asked her for the recipe and instructions weeks ago and yet, I never found the time to actually implement it. Anyway, I asked for the instructions again since I didn't write it down. I just kept it in my head and, I guess, my memory's not that reliable right now.
The Sweetest Thing
I woke up this morning to my daughter's laughter. It was a nice way to wake up. And seeing that her yaya is still fast asleep, I carried her and then she smiled at me. The kind of smile that shows all eight of her teeth and her cute little dimple. At that exact moment I felt so blessed and all I wanted to do was to hug my little heart.
Then I noticed that she was constantly pointing to her diapers. That's when I realized that her diaper was full. So, I changed it and I played with her until, I guess, she got tired and fell back to sleep. I just watched her sleep for a while until I, too, fell asleep.
