I’m Back!
March 26, 2007I've been to elbi and back. Yet somehow, I feel like the time I spent there was bitin. At the same time, I felt like there's nothing to go back there anymore. Many things seemed to have happened there within the 1-month I was away. A "housemate" doesn't live there anymore. She moved in with her new boyfriend. Then, a "brod" no longer stays there and never will again.
When I arrived there, it felt like the whole house was empty. Maybe, they were just busy because finals week starts today. And the semester is nearing its end. I somehow felt sad when I arrived there but I know that change is inevitable and so… there's nothing I can do about it.
It's a good thing that there were other visitors aside from myself. We drank like there was no tomorrow (brandy was courtesy of thebigsexy). The following day I woke up with a headache but I didn't have the luxury of sleep. So, I got up and spent the rest of the day watching tv and just hanging out with my "foxriver inmates". Then I had lunch at Ning's Thai (courtesy of Irvinoid). The food there was yummy, that is, if you like spicy dishes. After saying our goodbyes, I went straight to the bus stop and was homeward-bound within minutes.
