this was our traditional "salubong" for a brod or sis on his/her birthday. Duday (in brown) celebrated her 22nd birthday last june 23. unfortunately, the brods were not available on this night because they had to attend an important party somewhere. so, it was only us girls and our friendly neighbors (not included in the picture). although there was only a few of us, we still had a lot of fun! especially when teri was linked to one friendly neighbor…hihi. we hope that next time the brods will be able to make it. *thanks myr for coming!

May 16, 2007may 21. the day of my lil bro's flight back to the Philippines. i'm super excited! excited to see him. and listen to his stories of life in Florida. and especially excited for his pasalubong for me. hihi. i can't wait for that day.
may 25. kalinga apayao, here we come! this day marks my first ever mountain climb. i'm super excited! and, at the same time, nervous. i hope all will be well during and after the climb/trek. i'm especially nervous for our group presentation. i haven't thought of anything to present yet and it's less than ten days away. huhu…what should i do?
jun 3. vinci's 1st birthday. just like cerise's bday celeb, it will be a pool party. yahoo! cerise will finally be able to wear her two-piece swimsuit. hihi. kikay! also, it will be my first time to see bart jr., that is, if he comes. *fingers crossed*

pre-climb
May 11, 2007before anything else, i just want to greet a good friend of mine a belated
Happy Birthday!!!
just came back from elbi (once again!) to process some papers. then i went straight to makati with tan to attend the pre-climb for our BBBS outreach. we were briefed on the itinerary of the climb plus what we have to wear and what to bring with us. we were also divided into groups and were assigned a group leader. during the discussion, we were told that we had to prepare a short presentation for the kids we were going to visit in Kalinga. and much to my surprise, i was assigned to come up with a presenation for our group, having the theme "cinderella". awww, c'mon! me??? are they freakin' sure? gawd! now, i have to think of something to present to the kids and i really have no idea. as in, none. nada. zilch. anyway, i still have a week or two to come up with something. i guess i have no choice but to give it a try.
when i arrived home, much to my disappointment, cerise was already asleep. i wanted to hug her and kiss her and hear her laughter…i guess i can wait 'til tomorrow.
